She was taken to the Conocoto juvenile correctional facility, where she would meet the people she now calls angels.

Victoria says that in homes where there is more poverty there are only two options: steal or be a sex worker.

"In the program they gave me back my value and my self-esteem. They gave me back the value I have as a woman. They made me see my capabilities."
